37 Tips For Peaceful Parenting Success

1. Your child is not responsible for how you react. Your stressful, angry reactions represent ways that you behave, and those ways do not work. you can parent far more effectively and enjoyably by demonstrating calm and loving self-control.

2. Improving your response to your child's behavior begins with taking total responsibility for your responses.

3. Focus on your own behavior to see the ways that you contribute to the outcomes that you do not want.

4. Begin addressing any unbalance in your life. To parent with more peace, poise and loving effectiveness, you need to eat well, exercise enough, practice some form of meditative centering or conscious relaxation, do enough of what you love to keep your morale high, and practice doing what must be done in a calm, confident, pleasant manner.

5. To remove the anger and stress from your reactions to your child's behavior, practice handling every aspect of your day without rush. The more you rush the faster you drive yourself crazy.

6. Children have two speeds when it comes to doing what you want: slow and stop. If you push them to go faster they go in reverse.

7. A calm child behaves better than a stressed out child. Your state radiates. The more calmly you interact with your child, the calmer your child will be.

8. You cannot instill better self-control in a child while you are losing yours.

9. Taking charge in your relationship with child begins with taking charge of yourself.

10. When a child can make you react, the child is in charge. Gaining control in any situation starts with controlling your reaction to the situation.

11. Watch what you tell your child. Saying things like, You make me angry. You move too slowly. You force me to yell. Gives your child and your own subconscious that the child is in charge and responsible for how you behave.

12. God sends a challenging child into your life when it is time for you to grow.

13. When you lose your peace and poise in response to your child's behavior, you lose your power.

14. Practice handling EVERYTHING with peace and poise. From peace you can connect with your deeper wisdom and love to guide you in your parenting.

15. By degrees equals ease. Be satisfied with making small steps of improvement in any situation. When you lose your patience, you lose more time.

16. Your stressful reactions to your child express an unhealthy way that you handle what happens and indicates a lack of self-respect.

17. Children need a peaceful, harmonious, stable environment to demonstrate their best behavior and positive, loving, respectful attitude. Therefore, when you react with anger and stress toward your child's behavior, you undermine your child's ability to do better.

18. Anger, stress, pleading, arguing, yelling these represent the most ineffective modes of parenting. Regard them as a choice, not as a necessity and then choose another way.

19. Children need boundaries but they do not learn healthy boundaries when you try to enforce boundaries in an unhealthy way.

20. As a general rule, if your reaction hurts you it probably hurts the one you react to. As you commit to taking excellent care of yourself you will operate within healthy, constructive boundaries in your parenting.

21. When you get stressed out in reaction to your child's behavior, you make yourself sick, unhappy and exhausted. You make yourself that way; the child does not make you that way, and your influence sickens those around you.

22. Observe how you think of your child. If your thoughts bring you anger or stress, your thinking, and not your child, is the problem.

23. You bring about what you think about. Think of your child as you want him/her to be and think of your parenting as you want that to be.

24. To be wise is t o make problems smaller, not larger. When your child behaves in a problematic way, you add to the problem by becoming a stressed out, unhappy, angry person in response.

25. Changing your response to your child begins with resisting the urge to blame your child for how poorly you react.

26. Your anger and stress reactions to your child's behavior indicate that you push yourself too hard and then take it out on the child. As you take better care of yourself your child's behavior will seem less taxing.

27. When you do not know how to handle your child's behavior, simply observe, relax and assume an attitude of confidence. Pay attention with an open mind and something constructive will occur.

28. Before you can gain control, you need to learn how to be out of control. Trust the way things are when they spin out of your control.

29. Make no big deal about behavior that disturbs you. Make a very big deal about the behavior that pleases you. A high intensity reaction rewards the behavior to which you react.

30. Do not struggle against behavior you do not want, but rather, take constructive action to achieve the behavior you do want.

31. The most essential ingredient a child needs to behave well is a deeply loving, secure and mutually respectful relationship with his/her parents. You undermine this with reactions of anger and stress.

32. To change a child's behavior, demonstrate better behavior yourself.

33. 95% of your redirection of child behavior should involve positive, loving, even playful ways to guiding your child out of behavior you want stopped and into behavior you want started.

34. If you are in the habit of thinking of yourself as a martyr and portraying yourself as a martyr you sacrifice your sense of power and self-respect in parenting. Stop seeing yourself as a victim to start experiencing more victory.

35. When you need to be firm, be unemotionally firm. Institute a consequence involving a restriction of a privilege, but maintain your composure and remain kind in the process. Be consistent and your child will get the message of the boundary you want followed.

36. When you blow up as a parent, you blow it as a parent. Anger and stress are to a child's poor behavior what gasoline is to fire.

37. The final solution: you have to trust that it can be done, that you can guide your child with love and without anger and stress. Where there is a willingness, a way opens up.

Success Conscious

Do you have a success conscious or failure conscious?
First lets briefly talk about the difference between the two. Someone with a success conscious is one who has prepared to receive. They expect the riches from life, and skim across life plucking only the very best life has to offer them.

Someone with a failure conscious never get to experience good things. They know they fail at everything they touch. They are Mr. Joe Bloggs, Fred Ordinary and Frank Plain. They dont win the lottery, they dont like their work and they dont enjoy helping others.

I once heard a story about two farmers who were both desperately in need of rain for their crops. One of the farmers went and prepared his crops to receive rain, while the other farmer waited to see if it would rain before expelling any unnecessary effort preparing his crops.

Which farmer do you think received the rain?
If you prepare yourself to receive, then the universe will yield to you everything you could ever dream for. Already where you stand today you expect so many things that serve you and so you receive them.

You expect fresh, clean running water and so you receive it.
You expect unlimited supplies of food and so you receive it.
You expect transportation and so you receive it.
You expect a means to create income and so you receive it.

There are so many people and places on this planet who do not expect these basics. You and I can call them basics because we are so used to having them, where some parts of the world are not.

You can prepare yourself to receive success by first deciding on what it is you really want. What is it that makes your heart sing? What is it that would make you smile, dance and cheer with glee? Next prepare your fields to receive it.

What would the person who has already got this thing you are wanting behave like? What would they do different to how you are currently behaving?

Would they dress better?
Would they be more giving with money?
Would they smile all day long?
Would they not have a care in the world?

You must behave, act and become that person in order for you to receive your desires. The universe only yields to you that which you are in vibrational harmony with. That means that you must become a match to your desire. You must vibrate on a similar level to what you want and it is then that the universe yields it all to you.

Candy, Sweet Childhood and Tooth Health

For every child, a look back on their sweet childhood almost always involves days playing outside, eating candy and living the worry free life! Unfortunately for both children and parents alike, tooth health can be a major issue when your child has a love for candy! Choosing the right types of candy for your children to consume and monitoring their intake and tooth care can be beneficial in helping your children maintain a sweet childhood filled with both candy and exceptional tooth health!

Even though it can be difficult to monitor what types of candy your children eat when they are away from home, it is easy to do so when they are around the house. Never allow sugary candy except on special occasions! When your children have that hankering for candy or you are in the mood to reward good behavior with a sweet treat, stick to a sugar free brand. Not only is this good for your childrens teeth, but it is also effective in maintaining a balance in their blood sugar levels. Many manufacturers have sugar free versions of many popular candies that are just as tasty and satisfying as the real thing!

When you do allow your kids to munch on candy, in order to maintain great tooth health you should enforce moderation control of consumption. One or two pieces will quench the urge for sweets. Eating candy in excess will only make your kids lethargic and hyped up on sugar only to crash soon after. After Halloween, allow your kids to pick one or two pieces of candy each day. This will keep consumption down and let the fun of Halloween last for months! After children are done snacking on candy, always remind them to brush their teeth to get rid of sugar on their teeth. In addition, always enforce brushing teeth in the morning and at night. Kids should never go to bed without brushing, as sugar left in the mouth at night will eat away at teeth and cause painful and expensive cavities!

Remind your kids that candy is not the only culprit of cavities and poor tooth health! Drinking lots of sugary sodas and even lots of sugar-rich fruits can do a number on your childrens sensitive teeth! Choose diet sodas for your kids- they taste just the same and will have similar benefits that sugar free candy boasts! Of course, enforcing good dental hygiene each day will ensure your that your children maintain their bright smiles throughout childhood.

Barbecue Cooking - Old And Fun Way To Cook Meat

Barbecue is man's oldest method of cooking food. It began with some prehistoric man and women who wandered up on the remains of some animals which was a victim of wildfire. It was better than raw meat. That is how cooking in a barbecue evolved.

Today, the art of barbecuing has evolved into three basic methods. The most popular method of cooking food in a barbecue is grilling. In the next method, the food is dry cooked by the heat of the smoke. The last method involves cooking food in a fire of coal, wood, propane gas or any other similar gas, usually with the sauce applied.

Barbecue is usually cooked in an outdoor environment. Without using any of barbecue appliances, barbecue can be prepared by making a pit in the ground to contain the fire and using a grate, grill or a platform of sticks that holds the meat or other food that is being prepared. A suitable cover will be enough to contain the smoke and heat. This is a slow method of cooking, but it retains the natural, flavorful juice that keeps the meat moist and tender.

Barbecuing can be done at a higher temperature also. But be sure not to burn the outside of the meat. Meat of any sort gets really tough when it is overcooked. When smoking meat for an hour or so at high temperature, wrap the meat tightly in a foil, to reduce the cooking time. Whatever the temperature used, a basting sauce also known as mop sauce or finishing sauce, should be applied to the meat in the last fifteen to thirty minutes of cooking.

The mop sauce is applied to the meat with a brush or small rag mop at intervals during the cooking process. A good indicator to apply mop is when the meat begins to appear dry on the surface. Mop sauce with non-tomato and non-sugar should be used because tomato and sugar will make the meat bitter.

Barbecuing any meat is at the discretion of the individual cook. The place where one lives has a lot to do with the meat in favor. In Texas, the meat of choice is brisket. It is boneless and usually very fatty which imparts that delicious flavor.

Basic mop sauce for barbecue is very easy to prepare. One pint of water, half lime juice, salt and butter will make up a mop sauce. Keeping this as base, one can prepare ones own mop sauce by adding onion, garlic and other favorite spices of their choice.

Apart from preparing non-vegetarian food, vegetarian foods can also be prepared. Vegetarians can also enjoy barbecues. Vegetarians can cook some of the shop-bought veggie burgers or sausages.

Barbecue cooking can be healthier and safer when the meat is seared or slow-cooked at a low temperature. If the temperature is very high, carcinogens are more likely to be formed in the meats. Consuming this will lead to cancer.

When smoke hits the bare meat, proteins are transformed into benzopyrenes, which are carcinogens. If the meat is well coated with barbecue sauce before barbecuing, it will protect the outer layer of meat from changing in character. So learn barbecue cooking the right way and stay healthy.

The Differences Between Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra

Viagra (Sildenafil), also known as The Blue Pill, is available in 25mg, 50mg and 100mg pills. Viagra can be taken once per day, between 30 minutes to 4 hours before sexual intercourse.

Viagras common side effects are sneezing, headaches, flushing, dyspepsia (heartburn, pain), dizziness, palpitations (when you can feel the beating of the heart), and photophobia (excessive sensitivity to light) while the more serious side effects are priapism (a painful condition when an erection doesnt stop for 4 hours), heart attacks, low blood pressure, stroke and even sudden death. There have been some cases of blindness caused by Viagra, although it is still disputed.

Viagra starts working in around 45 minutes on average, and lasts 4 hours. The pills cost around $10 per pill. There are many cheap versions of Viagra available online, however many of them are illegal and fake. There are cheaper, generic versions sold online (with the same side effects)

Cialis (Tadalafil) has shown more effectiveness than Viagra in many cases, because Cialis is a stronger PDE5 inhibitor. A 20mg dose of Cialis is comparable to a 100mg dose of Viagra.

Common side effects of Cialis include headache, indigestion, back pain, flushing. Back pain can occur 12 to 24 hours of taking the drug; however they go away in a few days. Cialis can cause priapism as well, and vision changes (difficulty in telling the difference between green and blue colors)

Cialis has an advantage over Viagra because it can work up to 36 hours compared to the 4 hour-effect of Viagra. Cialis can cost up to $22 per pill. As with Viagra, there are cheap generic versions available online.

Levitra (Vardenafil) is available in 2.5mg, 5mg, 10mg and 20mg orange colored pills. A 10mg dose of Levitra is comparable to 50mg of sildenafil.

Levitra has side effects as well, including nausea, abdominal pain, back pain, vision changes, photosensitivity, eye pain, organ swelling, high blood pressure, palpitation, rashes and priapism. Some serious side effects are heart attacks, penile tissue damage and permanent impotency. Levitra can cost up to 20 hours per pill. Fake versions are cheaper.

Because there are dangerous side effects associated with the big 3 erectile dysfunction drugs, there are many herbal Viagra alternatives available in the market. These products are preferred over the ED drugs because while they can start working in 15-30 minutes, and last 4 hours, like Viagra, they have absolutely no side effects. This is because they are made of herbal ingredients. They are increasingly gaining popularity among impotence patients because they are very affordable, costing around $1.5 per pill.

Tommy Lee helps impotence patients find the best way to cure the "disease". He recommends this herbal viagra supplement over Viagra Cialis Levitra.
